Brittany Ferries launches Spanish Parador Hotel offer – 4 nights from £219

In episode one of The Trip to Spain, Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan sailed on Brittany Ferries’ flagship Pont-Aven to northern Spain from Plymouth. Now the company is encouraging fans of the restaurant-review comedy series to follow in their footsteps by taking a ferry to Spain, to stay where they stay and to experience the culinary delights of the restaurants they visit during the six-episode series.

Brittany Ferries reports best passenger figures for a decade

Following its annual general meeting in France last Friday, Brittany Ferries today reports strong passenger and freight figures for 2016. Overall passenger numbers were up for a fourth consecutive year and despite the challenges presented by Brexit it was the company’s best performance in a decade.

The Time of Their Lives will be showing in cinemas across Britain from 10 March, with advance screenings on board Brittany Ferries ships from 9 March. In the story, the superstar actresses sail from Portsmouth to Caen, before heading south in a Citroen 2CV. Love interest comes en route courtesy of Italian heartthrob Franco Nero, before a dramatic finale on the Ȋle de Ré.
