The packages are described as sail-and-stay because the price includes cruise-ferry travel to your destination and accommodation. Options include campsites, French gites, apartments, cottages and hotels. Prices are kept down thanks to an automatic 30% discount on normal ferry price, something Brittany Ferries applies to every sail-and-stay trip, even for one night’s stay.

Brittany Ferries departs three locations across the south coast of England. In the west country, Plymouth serves Roscoff in Brittany and Santander in Spain. Ships from Poole sail to Cherbourg and Guernsey. The company’s UK hub Portsmouth serves Le Havre, Caen, Cherbourg and St Malo in France, as well as Santander in Spain, and Guernsey.
