24th July 2023

Brittany Ferries has released its 2024 sailing schedules to Spain, allowing customers to plan ahead by booking ferries from the UK’s South Coast to and from the Iberian Peninsula right up until November next year.

Altogether in 2024 Brittany Ferries will offer up to 12 weekly sailings linking the UK to Spain for passengers travelling with their car or motorhome, on their bike or motorbike, or on foot.

Highlights of the newly-published schedules include:

Portsmouth to Bilbao
Two return sailings per week direct to the Basque Country from now until November 2023 and from March to November 2024.

Portsmouth to Santander
Two return sailings per week year-round to the capital of Cantabria from now until November 2024.

Plymouth to Santander
Two return sailings per week linking Devon to Cantabria from now until November 2023 and from March to November 2024.

Paul Acheson, Brittany Ferries’ director sales and marketing said:
“Spain remains the number one overseas holiday destination for British holidaymakers, with 30 per cent choosing the country. But what’s clear to us is that increasing numbers of them are choosing the ferry as their preferred means to get there, both for its convenience and the relaxed onboard experience.

“Demand for our long-haul routes to Spain has soared in recent years and we’ve responded by increasing our departures and by placing our most modern and environmentally-friendly vessels Galicia, Salamanca and Santoña on these routes alongside our ever-popular flagship Pont-Aven.

“We’re delighted to make our 2024 sailings available allowing customers to put their travel plans in place, and by booking now they’ll also enjoy the best choice of sailings, fares and cabins.”

On board all Brittany Ferries’ long-haul sailings to Spain passengers enjoy a choice of high-quality French and Spanish dining options, duty-free shopping, bars with entertainment for all the family, and in the summer months there’s even whale and dolphin watching with expert wildlife guides from Brittany Ferries’ conservation partner ORCA.

All sailings are dog-friendly, with a choice of pet-friendly cabins, kennels, and an open-deck walking area.

A second phase of schedules will be released shortly, allowing customers to book all Brittany Ferries routes from the UK to Normandy and Brittany.

The new Spanish timetables are available now at brittany-ferries.co.uk, and customers can book either online or over the phone with Brittany Ferries’ Plymouth-based contact centre on 0330 159 7000.
