Brittany Ferries has opened the first phase of sales for next season. The launch includes all services connecting the UK with Spain, departing Portsmouth and Plymouth in winter 2022 and onto summer 2023.

Phase two will come next week, with the opening of routes connecting the UK with France.

The move comes as the ferry and holiday company reveals a 13 percent rise in reservations for travel to Spain this summer. Just shy of 150,000 passengers will travel between June and September, compared with 132,000 in 2019.

There’s more good news too: a new ship will join the Brittany Ferries fleet in 2023. Brittany Ferries Santoña will be the second vessel in the family to be powered by cleaner liquefied natural gas (LNG), joining sister-ship Salamanca. That means travel to Spain will be a greener option, as well as a relaxing alternative to airport queues, delays and cramped conditions on board.

“I am delighted to confirm that sailings to Spain for winter 2022 and the 2023 season are now on sale,” said Dan Joynes, 2023 sales launch manager Brittany Ferries.  “Now is the time for travellers to say ‘Sí’ and to secure the best choice of sailings, cabins and pet facilities on some of the company’s newest vessels. Hassle-free travel is on the menu with Brittany Ferries, thanks to wide open spaces on board, your own vehicle, individual cabins and flexible ticket options.”

Reservations can be made to travel on Santoña, Galicia and the company’s flagship vessel Pont-Aven via the company’s website: https://www.brittany-ferries.co.uk/ferry-routes/planning/2023-sailings
